35 musical scores composed by 3 up to 9 years old children.
All compositions were created during piano lessons led using the Bajkowska Method, which enables any child to compose own musical piece even after only few activities with a teacher.
Teaching to compose music is another play-learning process. Music notes are like toys so you can play with the as your imagination tells you it… First, children learn to find favorite sounds on the piano keyboard than they write them on a music stave. Later, they concentrate on the melody and its beauty. If necessary, some music notes are changed or the whole composition is modified. This creative process is made by pupils only. A teacher doesn’t prompt or suggest anything to his students. He is just a mentor who tries to ‘awake’ children’s creativity and music imagination.
